How did you find Station Gamma?/Did a member invite you?
I was perusing the SW:TOR forums and came across your recruitment thread and decided to check the guild out. Liked what I saw and decided to apply.

Why are you interested in joining us?
I have tried four different guilds so far. The first one died, the second was a sith guild (I found that i am not good at being evil), Third was a dice RP guild (Which I just could not stay interested in), and fourth was an all ages type of guild with a lot of god modders. I read through the rules of Station Gamma and thought it would fit me very well.

Do you consider yourself mature?
I do. The question remains if you fine folks will consider me mature.

Tell us a little about yourself. Hobbies, job, ect.
I collect Force FX lightsabers (Currently have Ep. 4 & 5 Luke Skywalker, Ep. 1 Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, and Darth Maul double-bladed.) I also collect Lord of the Rings weapons ( I have Strider's Ranger Sword, The White Staff of Gandalf, The Fighting Knives of Legolas, Anduril-Flame of the West, Hadhafang-Sword of Arwen, Sword of Eowyn, Glamdring-Sword of Gandalf, Sword of Boromir, and Herrugrim-Sword of King Theoden.) No job at the moment. I go to school online, studying criminal justice.

Character Biography:
Calinhad was born to Jaden and Katriana Arakus in the shady underbelly of Coruscant. Jaden was a gambler, and not a very good one at that. He was in debt up to his head and he was desperate to save himself. He arranged to sell his wife and son to slavers to make the money to pay off his debts but, when his wife learned of this she took Calinhad and ran away. The next day, Jaden was found dead in his home.

For two years Katriana lived on the streets, begging and doing other unmentionable tasks to make enough money to feed her baby. When one of her "clients"(a big, burly man, with many tattoos) became abusive with her, she ran. She got to Calinhad but was cornered but the tattooed man. He pulled out a knife and said, "I'm going to slice your child's throat and make you watch." Katriana screamed for help, not expecting anyone to care about a beggar and her child.

A voice came from behind the tattooed man, "Shouldn't you be in some cesspit making some Hutt happy?" The tattooed man turned around to see a hooded man, half his size standing before him. The big man lunged at the smaller man, who was already sidestepping and reaching for something underneath his cloak. All Calinhad heard was a buzzing noise and then screams of pain. The tattooed man ran off screaming, holding a stub where his left hand used to be. The hooded man was a Jedi, a master by the name of Jorik Bailimur. Katriana thanked the Jedi and begged him to take her child as she could no longer keep him safe. Jorik took and child and felt a strong flow of the Force within him. He cared for the child and watched as the power of the Force grew within him.

When Calinhad was five years old, Jorik presented him to the Council, who allowed him to become Jorik's apprentice. For many years Calinhad learned everything he could from his master. Calinhad was fascinated by the power he had and, remembering the tattooed man, vowed to rid the galaxy of all evil.

When Calinhad was sixteen, he and Master Bailimur were sent to Nal Hutta to rescue slaves. Many slavers were killed in the fighting and all but one slave made it out alive. A stray blaster shot hit a woman. She fell dead and her two children ran to her side. Calinhad charged the slaver, who was impaled by the lightsaber before he could react. When Calinhad knelt down with the children they looked up at him with so much pain it made him weep. He vowed to never let another innocent person die when he was there to save them.

At age eighteen, Calinhad passed his trials and became a Jedi Knight. His master became his best friend and Calinhad still listened and learned from Jorik's wisdom. Calinhad loved knowledge and always strove to learn what he could of the past. He came upon recordings and teachings of Revan. He became fascinated by Revan's tale and his strategic insight. Learning of Revan's redemption he realized he was wrong to try and destroy all evil. He decided it was best to give everyone a chance to redeem themselves.

At age twenty-two, Calinhad's study of Revan's strategies came to fruition. Following reports of murder on Coruscant, he led a squad of Republic Troopers into the underbelly of the planet wide city. Allowing the Force to guide him, they came to a cantina which was actually a front for organized crime. Outnumbered, four-to-one, Calinhad's quick-thinking allowed them to defeat the criminals without any casualties. It was then that the Council and the Republic military realized the true potential of Calinhad.

Four years later, on the day the sky over Coruscant grew dark with the Sith armada, Calinhad was studying in the temple when he was startled by a crash. He exited the library to panic and confusion as the Sith were invading and slaughtering the Jedi. Rushing into action, he made a break towards the younglings' quarters. Many Sith tried to cut him down but he would not be stopped. He succeeded in helping the younglings escape and got a transport to the planet of Tython. He knew Jorik didn't make it, he mourned for his friend during the trip. After a few months of helping the younglings get settled, and honoring his old friend, he had grown to call Tython home.

A few scars on his body from past battles, but even more scars on his mind. He blames himself for each death he could have prevented. The Council has always told him to rejoice for those who become one with the Force, but Calinhad can't do that. He doesn't get angry that often, just really sad. He sometimes pushes himself to far, risking his own safety to save as many people as he can.


How much roleplay experience do you have?
Not that much actually. I started forum roleplay about three months ago.

I have read the rules and understand them perfectly. The rules are one of the main reasons this guild is so appealing to me.

Good application just make sure to quickly fix up any mistakes next time or else Borsalino may have a problem with that. But anyway that is a really good character bio. And it is finally good to see another Jedi Guardian besides me & two Jedi Consulars

Good point. It was the bio I wrote when I first started roleplaying. I should have scanned it over more thoroughly. If my application gets declined, I understand. May the Force be with you all.

I am Gunnery Sergeant Eiboba and the acting second-in-command of the Station in the absence of Station Master Bege, who is currently in the processing of moving and will not have internet access for a few days.

I want to say your application looks nice and definitely is up-to-snuff with our standards. While I can not bear final judgment on your application, our acting Station Master can. I can only tell you what I believe. But I am definitely impressed with the bio and the characterization in it so I believe that this application will be accepted.

Upon acceptance you may begin your trial. Look up the requirements for the trial and then begin posting around the forums. Just remember to keep 'em constructive. I hope to see you around and role-play with you.

Your application looks great. I loved your bio and it seems like you understand how to successfully RP and to build a well-developed character.

Once you are accepted into the Station, your trial will begin. During your trial just remember to stay active, and post often on the forums. The more you post and the more developed those posts are, the more likely you will be entered into the guild.

Ah ok. Most guilds i have seen you have to apply before registering. I have registered for this one, but I would like to make one change to my app. Instead of the Guardian path, I would like to be considered for the Sentinel path. (After my trial period of course.) I look forward to roleplaying with all of you.
