How did you find Station Gamma?/Did a member invite you?
I knew from previous experiences that RP guilds and what not, like to form up before the launch of a game. Thought I would sniff around and see if there was one that matched my temperaments as a Role Player. Was pleased to find ST-G.


Why are you interested in joining us?
What struck me first was the humility and rational mission statements about Rp and the direction of the Guild. Should it be called Guild? Heavy Rp struck a cord with me as well. I've rp'ed in a lot of Heavy Rp environments before and no one had such a simple and clear mission statement as you folks. I know I can make a good contribution to a group like this one.

I'm a rank and file Screenwriter living in Los Angeles. Table top Rp is where I got my start and is my main Hobby. I've been a practicing Buddhist and Martial Artist for 8 years now. Favorite Star Wars character is Yoda (From Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, specifically).


What timezone are you? Pacific. I know that's kind of a drag, I made note you were all looking for eastern players. Hope this isn't a problem.

Character Biography:
From the Jedi Archives...

Lyder came into the Force later than most, but his disposition towards compassion and his insatiable appetite for the parables of Wisdom, opened the doors for him at the Jedi Academy. While he diligently studies the applications and secrets of the Force, he considers restraint in actually using the Force to be one of the most important lessons he can apply. Lyder would lift a heavy object with his own arms rather than call upon his power, if it is possible to complete the task in such a way. Thus, the task itself becomes an excellent training tool. As such, Lyder has developed into a compassionate and good humored Jedi Consular. His spirit is bright, even in the darkest moments. While some would consider him a borderline pacifist, Lyder has always understood the practicality of the philosophy, "Sometimes we must destroy in order to preserve". When blades ignite, his serenity and resignation make him a truly lethal opponent in any fight. Once this kind and gentle soul has committed himself to taking action in battle, he is a primal force of determination with no sense of self-preservation...moving from point A to B. In other words, when Lyder must act to save innocence or defend the Republic, he surrenders himself utterly to the Force and the greater purpose: one life for many. For him there is no higher calling.

Greetings Lyder! Glad to tell you that you are the first Jedi applicant in Gamma. And looking over your application I am thoroughly impressed with every aspect of it. You are exactly the kind of person that Gamma tries to reach out to. From reading your application I can tell you are indeed a true lover of roleplay.

It is our highest goal to create an exceptional roleplay environment, however we also want to toss our skills into some organized raiding as well. As a member though your free to do what aspects you want to take part in, and then the ones you dont of course.

I noticed you had said you are in the Pacific timezone, which is absolutely fine. We accept members from any timezone however the only reason I worry for you in this early stage in the guild is because chat might be a bit lonely due to the time differences. This is why I put EST as a base time for now. However with the forums this is not a big deal, they will always be active for you any time of the day. Hopefully in the future there will be enough members around for any timezone to at least have a group of friends on at the same time.

On a closing note, I enjoyed the summary of your character and would really like to see more about his personal life in the future. There are plenty of places to express your character here such as the personal holocrons, and our RP sections. With that all said, welcome to Station Gamma my friend.

Just wait a bit and, I suppose, post in your guest account until he approves the account. You shouldn't have to wait too much longer.
