Kens Post

Kens Post

Kenanchi stared at his stealth robe, a green darkened jedi robe with a few modifications to fit a intelligence job or scout job. He shut his eyes and pressed his eyelids together as he let out a heavy sigh. "I really should have taken that nap, shouldn't I.." He said to himself and opened his eyes again. Kenanchi grabbed his robe and replaced it with his current, lighter version. A small buzz came to his attention. The comlink at his ear. *Bzzt* "High General sir, the men are all aboard and ready to leave. Captain Ed out. *Bzzt* Kenanchi made a slight nod and walked over to the door. He placed his hand to the handle and stopped for a second, before he opened the door and left the room, heading for the Hangar.

Kenanchi enter the hangar and head for the ship, where he is greeted by Ed.
"Ken, old friend, are you sure you wan't to take the recruits and initiates in this mission ? I know they only will be in charge of flying the ship and security while you and Aydre is out.. But.. Wouldn't it be better to go safe? Have someone more experienced? Heading over to Voss isn't to be taken lightly. Kenanchi raised his right brow and gave Ed the look. Ed laughed and replied in a equally amused and defeated manner, "Ok, I get it. "If they lack experience, we'll give them experience" huh?" Kenanchi grinned towards Ed. "You know me too well my friend." They both contiued to the ship, while Ed explained details about the men's equipment to Kenanchi.

As they entered the Ship, a small and standard Capitol Ship, they ran into General Aydre Fel.
"Aydre, you ready to teach our members how to fly this thing? Make sure you do a stop at Gamma before going for Voss"

Aydre Post

Aydre rubbed the sleep out of his eyes as he strolled down the corridor. He had been up for the past hour, but was still tired. He had recently returned from an excursion and had not slept well.

While contemplating his thoughts, he neglected his surroundings and almost bumped into the High General.

"Aydre, you ready to teach our members how to fly? Make sure you do a stop at Gamma before going for Voss!"

"I'll do my best Ken, I'm worried more about what's on Voss' surface to be honest!"

Aydre turned and walked alongside the other two, reaching around Ken briefly to shake the Captain's hand alongside a nod of greeting.

"I'm all in order, what's the status of the rest of the crew?"

Bege Post

Borsalino Bege sifted through the various things on his desk. He wasn't known to be the most organized man, obvious by the scattered datapads and documents that littered his large desk. Grabbing a handful of electronic letters he leaned back in his chair and began to sort them, lazily tossing the useless ones back on to the desk. One caught his attention. The name "Kenanchi" was visible on the front screen for the data letter.

"Curious." He mumbled to himself while activating the small piece of technology.

"Colonel, Rina is here to see you. I couldn't get rid of her." His secretary called over the intercom, annoyance laced in her voice.

"How dare you. That's officer Rina to you-" Another woman's voice was heard over the com.

Bege closed his eyes and sighed slightly. He would have to read the letter later. Whenever Rina was at his door the meeting was usually not a pleasant one.

"Send her in." He pulled himself back to his desk and folded his hands on the flat top before him.

The door slid open and revealed a slender woman, she was aged somewhere in her late thirties...he didn't know. She was a rather beautiful woman, short but primped brown hair bounced as she walked in. Her stride was full of swagger and confidence and her stance was somewhat masculine. She stopped a few feet from his desk and made an annoyed face.

"Rina." Bege faked a smile. "Always...a pleasure."

"Please. You and rest of this damn crew that is forced to work with me hate every ounce of me. Luckily I'm not here for small talk Colonel. My branch has been placed here for a week and the Republic has not sent, or even given me any word on sending more staff. All I have is one terrified little Ensign. I demand that some form of action is taken!" She rolled her eyes.

"The dealings of the JAG office is something that is beyond even my control out here Rina. You know that. You are the Judge Advocate General, send a full request to the office at headquarters." Bege swayed in his chair a little.

"You know that they listen to you more than me. Not a day goes by that they don't regret putting me in office. Why do you think they sent me as far away from the Republic as possible? Nontheless I have a chance to make some good law out here but I can't do it with just two people! I'm asking that you create and send a full request for more legal personnel in Station Gamma. By the end of this week if you could. Thank you Colonel. Your a dear." With that she turned and walked out his office door.

Bege raised an eyebrow at the clear insubordination. But it was Rina. Everyone knew Rina. "Yes ma'am."He lightly mocked pulling the requision documents out from a file under his desk.

Leaning down for it his eyes caught the letter from his old friend again. Surely he wouldn't forget to get the request done for Rina. If he did it would be hell to pay. But this required more immediate attention. He picked up the letter and leaned back in his seat again, eyes scanning the device he held in front of him. His lips twisted into a small smirk when he finished reading it. He got up from his seat and in a few long strides was out his office door.

"Have the High Marshal and my guest Captain Da'rel meet me in hangar three, sector three k. Also have the docking officer make an opening within the hour. I have an old friend visiting, I want to see his needs met when he arrives." He said to his secretary as he walked by.

"Uh, right away sir." She made out his quick requests.

"Oh." Bege called around the corner. "And please begin filling out the requision forms for our lovely Rina please. I will finish it later."

"Yes sir." His secretary smiled.

He continued his way down to the turbo lift and selected the hangar level. It was going to be an interesting afternoon.

Vanin Post

Jedi High Marshal Vanin Areldur walked through the grand halls of the Administration Deck. Tower at nearly 12 feet high the walls and ceiling looked less like a ship more like a mansion, one of the many perks of running a Republic space station, all the perks of home, without the home.

He had just returned from Deck Six were he had been putting in his morning work out, he enjoyed the quietness of the Training Arena located there and the space it allowed for him to put in some actual lightsaber training. He was determined to keep his skills razor sharp, he wasn’t on the battlefield anymore as he had been for most of his life as a Jedi. Recently most of his battles had been fought in Administration and working to set up the logistics of having a true Jedi faction located on Station Gamma. He had made massive progress in his last holograph meeting with Jedi Council and all he was waiting on was their vote at their next session. Until then however he had dozens of other things to figure out and being the only Jedi so far on Station Gamma, he really didn’t have a whole lot of help. He had just reached his office, a rather large round office that was designed in the like of the Forrest of Tython. Fake trees stretching to tall ceilings above made the office look even bigger. Vanin had programmed the lights to move across his office like the sun depending on what time of day it was. It was a very natural looking place and it reminded him of his favorite place, the outdoors.

As he walked along the faux grass he settled himself down in the desk that was located in the middle of the room, it looked rather out of place being surrounded by the forest that literally was his office. He had no sooner sat down when a Comm message appeared on his main holopad.

“High Marshal Sir! Colonel Borsalino Bege respectfully requests your presence with him at hangar three, sector three k,” said the voice of Colonel Bege’s secretary. Bege was the only person of higher rank than Vanin and that was just a mere technical aspect so that the Republic could have an official station leader name attached to Gamma.

“Thank you I will meet him there right now,” said Vanin pleasantly. He always tried to be as pleasant as possible with Bege’s secretary, he knew how rough she had it, his office may not look like it but Colonel Bege is not one to be crossed. He is a very strict leader and he expects nothing but the best from those serving under him and to be working in his office daily he knew that the young secretary was always on edge.

As he made his way down the mostly deserted hallways, he was still amazed at how new Station Gamma really was. Only roughly 2 months old, Vanin had barely been here for a month and still had trouble finding were he was suppose to go, how Bege had learned so fast was beyond him.

After several long minutes Vanin was able to locate the hangar were Colonel Bege already stood with a female Zabrak in a Republic Military Captains uniform whom Vanin did not know,

“Bege how are you today?” said Vanin coming to stand in front of both Republic officers. “Hello ma’am my name is Vanin Areldur it is a pleasure to meet you ma’am,” said Vanin bowing to the Captain and giving her, her honorifics of “ma’am” in respect to her rank. Vanin had always found that it was a nice gesture when meeting an officer for the fist time.

“So what is going on Bege,” said Vanin after bowing to the Zabrak Captain.

Jezzia Post

THE new Station Gamma was impressive, to say the least. It certainly was light years different from the old Station Gamma, the place where Jezzia had spent the beginning years of her military career. The latter had been a station that was worn, weathered, and had fended off a few too many offensive strikes during the many years it was in service. That it had finally been decomissioned and taken out of service came as no surprised to Jezzia at all. But no, this new station was a top of the line modern day marvel, with all the bells, whistles, and extras that the finest engineers in the Republic could cram into it.

Jezzia had accepted Bege's open invitation and stopped by the station while on leave. It was impressive to be sure, but it lacked that "lived in" feeling that she was accustomed to from her former home in the space above Alderaan. No doubt it was due to the many years she had spent aboard the old station, and the sentimental value that it's halls held, the friends she'd made there. And she was sure that, given time, this new station could become such a place to her. For the moment though, it was little more than a very pretty hunk of metal hovering in orbit above Voss.

Bege's summons was a welcome one. Jezzia had been spoiling for something exciting to do, and hoped that being called to the hangar meant a shuttle ride, even if it was a mundane trip down to the planet's surface. An amused grin crept across her face when she spotted Bege's excessively tall body from a distance, looming near one of the hangar's shuttles. He had been the primary reason she'd even bothered to check out the new space station, but unfortunately much of his time had been spent caring for the administrative duties that came along with running such a place. She welcomed the opportunity to spend a little time with her old, jaded mentor, the man who was responsible for much of what she thought of the Republic and it's inner workings.

"Road trip?" she asked as she approached and stood beside him, dwarfed by his massive frame and still wearing that wide grin, her tone filled with typical Jezzia wit.

"I don't know how I managed to do it for - what was it, three whole years? I'm going stir crazy up here, now that I've gotten accustomed to having a base that's actually on the ground. Please tell me we're going planetside, Colonel?"

A vaguely familiar voice spoke up from behind her before Bege had the chance to reply.

"Bege how are you today?” The words came from a man, a Jedi that Jezzia was sure she had seen roaming about the halls of the Remnants base on Taris. "Hello ma’am my name is Vanin Areldur it is a pleasure to meet you ma’am," he said with a respectful bow to Jezzia. She nodded, slightly inclining her head toward him in a bow as she looked him over appraisingly.

"So what is going on Bege?" the Jedi continued, returning his attention to Bege. Jezzia focused on him then too, it was the question that was on her mind as well after all. Jezzia had originally thought Bege intended to take her on a recreational excursion down to the planet's surface, to catch up and chat about old times. With this Jedi here though, her thoughts turned to the possibility of actually seeing some action. Her full lips gradually spread into a smile at the prospect as she awaited Bege's reply. 'It'll be just like old times; a Team Kampilan reunion', she thought to herself, rather giddy with the idea.

Ken Post

"I'll do my best Ken, I'm worried more about what's on Voss' surface to be honest!" Aydre said. Kenanchi agreed with a nod as Aydre joined them. Aydre shook the captains hand and gave him a nod of greeting. "I'm all in order, what's the status of the rest of the crew?" Kenanchi stopped and gazed off for a second, the two other stopped along with him. "Let's see.. I should head to the administration office to sort all the paperwork, our status on-ship. Kenanchi gave off a sigh which he tried to hide, unsuccesfully. "Well, first off. I'll fill you both in as your here. I want you two to start with a full report on equipment, food, drinks and personell after we take off. You know, standard procedure, have them on my desk when your done."

The two gave off a nod. "I hope that answered your question Aydre ?" Kenanchi smiled with a hint of cheerfulness towards Aydre, to compensate his earlier sigh. "Right then, I'll be seeing you both later." Kenanchi gave the two a friendly nod and turned to walk down the corridors towards the administration office. He leaned his head over to his right quickly while continuing to walk and said loudly to the two at the back "Remember to eat and sleep when you get the time!" As he left he could hear Ed initiate the conversation, "Gotta love how he sigh from doing adm tasks huh. Anyway, as for now, I'll take control of the soldiers and scouts as I was about to do so earlier. You should probably go take the few jedi we brought and the pilots, navigators and so on."

Kenanchi reached the office, he stood in the door, having a blank stare towards the desk. He yawned heavily and shut his eyes for a few seconds. "You haven't slept.. have you?" The voice of Reverie from behind, his friend and secretary. Kenanchi smiled while he continued to stare straight forward. "I can sleep when I grow old." Kenanchi had a small pause and quickly spoke again before Reverie could reply. "And no.. I do not consider myself old, yet. He could hear the sweet laughter coming from behind, filling up the room, the same laughter which had saved him countless of times in the past.

Kenanchi sat down and Reverie followed. "So.. How.. have you been Ken ?" Kenanchi smiled at Reverie and was about to reply as an jedi initiate entered the room. The initiate made a swift salute towards Kenanchi and Reverie, it was Carrick. "Master, can I have a word with you?" Kenanchi gave Carrick a nod and smiled at Reverie, whom suddenly became a little more formal as somone else was present. "Call me if you need anything High General sir." Kenanchi stood up and followed Reverie to the door, he looked at her warmly. "Thank you." As Kenanchi closed the door, he turned to Carrick and folded his arms while leaning back at the door. "So, my padawan, what was it you wish to discuss?" Carrick looked at Kenanchi eagerly. "Master, please, let me join the mission. I know watching the ship is just as important, but I want to learn from you!" Kenanchi stared out in the room for a few moments while scratching his beard, which were even more untrimmed then normal. "I will consider it, it's not that I don't want you to join, we just need alot of security while the ship is docked, having in mind, we are going to the outer rim." Carrick seemed to be satisfied with the answer he had gotten for now. "Thank you master, sorry for disturbing you. Contact me when you make up your mind." Kenanchi opened the door as he stepped aside, Carrick bowed and left the room.

Kenanchi took a few moments to look out in the corridors, leaning out from the door.
"I guess Aydre and Ed are coming soon." He said to himself.
