Overview

::-:: Holocron Activates ::-::

Welcome to the Jedi Enclave in Station Gamma. Before starting on your path to become a fully fledged Jedi please take the time to look over this brief overview. It will help you understand how the division works, and what will be expected of you. The Jedi here in Gamma play a slightly different role than that of the traditional Jedi Order. While the station is a haven for regular every day soldiers and traders it is also a Republic SIS headquarters. The SIS, or the Strategic Information Services, is constantly gathering information in the Outer Rim to help support the Republic with knowledge that will prepare us for many different obstacles. It is also firmly in place to keep an eye on the Sith neighbors who also occupy the Allied Tion Sector. This means that the higher ranks of Station Gamma are in some way tied to the SIS program. The Jedi that are transferred here from the orders are trained as investigators and watchmen, shadows and seers.

Under the careful and ever vigilant eye of the Jedi High Marshal Vanin Areldur the entire enclave of Force users is a base of operations that supplies the Republic with a large amount of information vital to both staying alive and expanding in the Outer Rim. This is no easy task, and the Jedi here are trained hard. Below lists some of the programs and tasks that are mandatory to your ascension in the Jedi Enclave.

Player Introductions
Master-Padawan Training
Team Kampilan Courses

Since the goal of this overview is to familiarize our Jedi with the system in place, if there are any areas that are still unclear or any questions you have that weren't answered, please feel free to PM me and I will help you.

Player Introductions

This system is designed to do a few things, foremost of which is to introduce new transfers to one of the main aspects of Team Kampilan right away - roleplaying. Players new to roleplay will be able to get their feet wet in a simple introductory roleplay with Colonel Bege, allowing them to familiarize themselves with what roleplaying is all about before being tossed into an intense combat scenario. Seasoned roleplayers can take advantage of the opportunity to get a feel for how we roleplay, as well as adding the experience of signing on with Team Kampilan to their 'personal canon' and establishing what type of character they'll be bringing into the guild. Whether novice or veteran, the new Player Introduction system should provide fun for everyone, and add to the immersion of our roleplay.

Master-Padawan Training
[/size]

One tradition that is not lost in Gamma is the sacred bond between a Jedi Padawan and a Master. Experienced members of the Jedi Enclave take younger and less experienced members under their wing and teach them the ways of the Force. The code and restrictions of the order are present as most of the Jedi stationed in Gamma are from the order itself. The control of emotions, mastery over the Force, and skills in combat are all essential lessons taught in the enclave. However many of the Jedi in Gamma act as investigators and shadows meaning the art of stealth, the use of wit, and the solution of mysteries is also in your every day schedule.

While conventional training is still done here, either through roleplay threads on the forums or live in a chat box, there is a holocron feature that is used in the Jedi Enclave. Each senior Jedi is responsible for creating a holocron that is full of information and lessons. What information and lessons are included is up to the creator. The holocron is both a tool that benefits not only the student but the master as well. It is a requirement for promotion to a senior member of the Enclave and a part of valuable training for the student. When a holocron is finished it is reviewed by the High Marshal, and if it is deemed usable it is then placed in its own thread and used.

Team Kampilan Courses

Like all the other classes in Station Gamma the Jedi of the Enclave are required to take Team Kampilan training courses along side the Troopers and Smugglers. It provides valuable combat experience and trains those taking the course on how to deal with certain situations and dangerous scenarios. To read more about these courses visit the Team Kampilan overview-
